A good thing to think about.
This is short and to the point. Productivity. My personal reflection to this, he blames the Operating System(OS). It is not actually that where the problems is. You can get a productive experience on most OS:es. The problem is the software put on the OS.

Does he blame the OS? He's clearly also referring to the Office suites of today. And looking at Adobe Reader (which you mentioned somewhere in your blog as well) he's certainly right. This is at the same time the reason why computers get faster, but OSs and applications do not ...
